I am currently exploring the hypothesis that certain mRNA modifications may not serve as classical binary switches, but rather as modulatory ‘dials’ in cancer.
This concept, which may reflect a deeper evolutionary logic, is under active investigation and discussion.

Ryota Kurimoto M.D., Ph.D.
内科学、腫瘍内科学の研修の後、千葉大学大学院、東京医科歯科大学（東京科学大学）を経て、現在はRNA修飾酵素とがんの関わりについて、興味を持っています。RNA修飾酵素や新規修飾の機能解析を通じて、がんの新たな診断・治療の手がかりを探ることを目指しています。
内科診療も行っています。

After training in internal medicine and oncology, I worked at Chiba University and Tokyo Medical and Dental University (Institute of Science Tokyo), and am currently interested in the relationship between RNA-modifying enzymes and cancer.
We aims to find new clues for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
I also provides internal medicine services.
